The order urges parties who cannot meet deadlines established in orders issued March 23, March 25 and March 27 to move for an extension of time or for leave to file their document belatedly. “Relief will be granted for good cause shown, notwithstanding any provision of the Appellate Rules imposing a more stringent standard,” reads the order signed by Chief Justice Loretta Rush and Court of Appeals Chief Judge Cale Bradford.
The order also further suspends personal delivery to the appellate clerk or the rotunda filing drop box through July 6. The order applies to matters in the Indiana Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Tax Court and Clerk of Courts, and extends relief that had been granted through an order issued May 14.
In all other respects, court orders issued April 7, April 30 and May 19 remain in full force and effect.
