Scott B. Cockrum, the 2025 president, is a partner in the Northwest Indiana and Indianapolis offices of Lewis Brisbois. He has extensive experience handling professional liability claims in state and federal courts in Indiana, including ones involving the defense of architects, engineers, lawyers, accountants, surveyors, property managers, and realtors. He also frequently represents physicians and nursing homes in medical malpractice claims.
Norris Cunningham, the new president-elect, is a member of Stoll Keenon Ogden, PLLC, and represents healthcare providers in various capacities including trial practice, regulatory advocacy, commercial litigation, and arbitration. He is an arbitrator certified by the American Arbitration Association and the American Health Lawyers Association. Mr. Cunningham is a frequent presenter on healthcare-related topics at national and regional seminars and conferences. Mr. Cunningham received his BA from Aurora University, his MS from Central Michigan University, and his JD from IU McKinney School of Law.
Jim Strenski, the 2025 secretary, is an attorney at Drewry Simmons Vornehm, LLP. His practice is focused primarily on insurance coverage, insurance bad faith, and personal injury defense. Jim has tried multiple cases in state and federal courts in Indiana. He is the former president of the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Insurance Coverage Executive Committee. He received his BS in 1990 from Georgetown University and his JD from IU Maurer School of Law in 1994. Jim also serves on the board of directors of Hoosier Burn Camp and is a long-standing umpire for Broad Ripple Haverford Little League.
Marian Drenth, the new treasurer of the association, is a partner with O’Neill McFadden & Willett LLP in Schererville. She concentrates her practice in civil litigation with an emphasis in professional liability, including healthcare law, medical malpractice defense, and legal malpractice defense. Ms. Drenth received her BA from Loyola University cum laude and her JD from Valparaiso University School of Law. She holds an AV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, has been selected as an Indiana SuperLawyer since 2018 and was recently accepted into the Indiana Chapter of ABOTA.
Anna Mallon, immediate past president, is an attorney in the law firm of Drewry Simmons Vornehm, LLP. Her practice is focused primarily on insurance coverage and personal injury defense. She received her BA and BS from Miami University (OH) and her JD from the IU McKinney School of Law. Anna is the former chair of DTCI’s Insurance Coverage Section, and regularly speaks on insurance coverage and insurance bad faith.

David Beach is a partner with Eichhorn & Eichhorn. His practice areas include defense of commercial and professional negligence claims in both state and federal court and before the court of appeals. David graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.A. in 1991 and a J.D. in 1995. He was named the Indiana Defense Lawyer of the Year in 2018.
Lauren Dimmitt is a partner in Dinsmore & Shohl’s Bloomington office. She focuses her practice on insurance coverage, bad faith litigation, and personal injury defense. Lauren received a BS in health services administration and a BS in business administration marketing from the University of Evansville, and received her JD from the IU Maurer School of Law. Lauren is a co-editor for DTCI’s quarterly e-newsletter, The Dispatch. She was recognized as a Rising Star by Indiana Super Lawyers from 2014 to 2024.
Lucy Dollens is a co-founding partner of the Indianapolis office of Quarles & Brady LLP. She is a commercial litigator and appellate practitioner. Licensed in both Indiana and West Virginia, her practice encompasses a wide array of complex commercial issues, including commercial contracts, distribution, supply chain, warranty, commercial real estate issues, construction, risk mitigation, False Claims Act, business torts, employment restrictive covenants, unfair competition, and trade secrets litigation. Ms. Dollens serves as the chair of the DTCI Amicus Committee.
Kayla Goodfellow is staff counsel at the Law Office of the Cincinnati Insurance Company where she defends a broad range of civil litigation from inception through appeal. She received her BA from Coe College in 2005 and her JD from IU McKinney School of Law in 2008. Kayla is currently on the board of Home Repairs for Good, which provides seniors with free home repairs so they may age in place safely.
Beverly J. Mack is a partner in the LaPorte firm of Huelat & Mack PC. She has been with Huelat & Mack for 28 years, practicing insurance defense litigation, including product liability, industrial accidents, trucking, construction defect, dental malpractice, premises liability, and commercial actions. Ms. Mack obtained her BA from Eastern Illinois University and her JD from the University of Illinois College of Law. She is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, the LaPorte County Bar Association, and Women Lawyers Association of Indiana.
Libby Valos Moss is a partner with Kightlinger & Gray LLP who concentrates her practice in employment law and defense of employers before the Indiana Worker’s Compensation Board. She is admitted to practice in Indiana and before the U.S. District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Ms. Moss headed the DTCI Worker’s Compensation Section and the Worker’s Compensation Committee of DRI. She is a member of the Litigation Counsel of America and was recognized as a Rising Star by the Indiana Super Lawyers for 2010, 2011, and 2012. She has also been named to the Super Lawyers List each year for the years 2014-2021, 2023-2024.
Angela Rinehart is an attorney in the litigation group at Ice Miller, LLP in Indianapolis. She also currently serves as DTCI’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee Chair and is a co-organizer of the Classrooms to Courtrooms Program. Angela focuses her practice on general litigation matters including commercial litigation as well as health care litigation and regulatory matters. She received her BA from Butler University and her JD from IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
Jordan Slusher is a managing associate at Frost Brown Todd LLP, where he defends complex product liability and tort cases in state and federal courts in Indiana and across the United States. Jordan is a co-editor of DTCI’s e-newsletter, The Dispatch, and Board Liaison to the Product Liability Section. He has previously chaired the Young Lawyer Committee and the Publications Subcommittee of the Product Liability Section. Jordan was also awarded The Outstanding Young Lawyer Award by DTCI in 2021, and he has been recognized as an Indiana Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2021. Jordan received his B.A in criminal justice from IU and his JD from IU McKinney School of Law.
Charles Smith is an attorney and mediator at Hunt Suedhoff Kearney in Indianapolis. Charley focuses his practice on insurance coverage, personal injury, and construction defect litigation. He has been the Trial Tactics chair for DTCI and the chair of the Litigation Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association; he currently serves on the board of the IndyBar Foundation as the treasurer. He received his BA in philosophy from Ball State University and his JD from the University of Georgia. He has been an Indiana Super Lawyer for seven years and is a member of the Sagamore Inn of Court.
Yogi Snider is a partner in the Indianapolis office of Dinsmore & Shohl where he practices in the firm’s commercial litigation group. He received his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law. He represents clients in any type of dispute requiring resolution, including attorney general investigations, consumer complaints, contracts, zoning, boundary disputes, wrongful death, eminent domain and construction defects.
Todd Spurgeon is a partner in the New Albany office of Kightlinger & Gray, LLP, handling a wide range of insurance defense matters. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a past president of the Indiana State Bar Association. He is active in the ABA previously serving in the House of Delegates and on various section committees. In addition to involvement in other legal and professional organizations, he is a member of the board of directors of Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana and a member of the Lions Club of New Albany.
Katherine Strawbridge is a partner in Lewis Wagner’s transportation practice group where she defends motor carriers and their drivers in wrongful death and injury claims. She also assists her transportation clients in other litigation that arises in their businesses including premises liability claims in both state and federal courts in Indiana. Away from the firm, Katie is half of a two-lawyer household. She and husband Bryan live in Westfield with their two children. A selfproclaimed foodie, Katie enjoys cooking and trying out new restaurants.
John Stringfield is a senior litigation associate at Clendening Johnson Bohrer where he focuses his practice in civil litigation. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Ball State, John attended the IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He was a fellow with the Indiana Supreme Court Coalition for Court Access in 2017.
Michael Tolbert, a name partner of Tolbert & Tolbert in Gary, is a graduate of Valparaiso University School of Law and recipient of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award. Michael has concentrated his practice in the areas of complex civil litigation, bad faith insurance litigation, wrongful death actions, catastrophic personal injury cases and employment related litigation. He served on the Indiana Commission for CLE for nine years. Michael has also served as president of the James C. Kimbrough Minority Bar Association, the Porter County Chapter of the American Inns of Court, the Lake County Bar Association, and the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA).
Germaine Winnick Willett practices in Ice Miller LLP’s Workplace Solutions Group where she litigates employment and higher education law matters and advises clients on a broad range of employment-related questions. She graduated from DePauw University and received her JD from IU Maurer School of Law. A current The Best Lawyers in America (employment law) honoree, Ms. Willett also received the John Morton Finney, Jr., Award for Excellence in Legal Education in 2011 and the IndyBar Women in Law Division Mentorship Award in 2020. Ms. Willett served as chair of DTCI’s Women in the Law Committee in 2017-18.•
