The Indiana Supreme Court suspended five attorneys Tuesday for failure to pay costs associated with their pending disciplinary actions.

Alger Boswell of Gary, John Voor of South Bend, Thomas Dysert of Washington, Kurt Schnepper of Evansville and Jamise Perkins of Crown Point were all issued suspension orders by the court.

All suspensions are effective immediately, except for the order for Perkins, which becomes effective July 19.

Dysert had already been indefinitely suspended from practicing law by the high court in January.

At that time, he had been under suspension since August for failing to respond to the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission concerning a grievance.

Schnepper also had been placed on indefinite suspension by the court in 2022 for noncooperation, with Voor receiving an indefinite suspension order in March.

All five attorneys are required to to fulfill the duties of a suspended attorney under Admission and Discipline Rule 23(26) and can file an application for reinstatement pursuant to Admission and Discipline Rule 2(h), provided the requirements of that provision are met.

Chief Justice Loretta Rush issued all five suspension orders, with all justices concurring.
