Lawyers, judges, legal education professionals, legal support staff and others in the legal profession can be nominated for one of the four categories of the Leadership in Law Awards until 11:59 p.m. March 8. The award categories are:
- Distinguished Barristers: Licensed legal professionals with at least 20 years of experience in the law.
- Up and Coming Lawyers: Licensed legal professionals with 10 years of experience or less.
- Legal Support Stars: Paralegals, legal secretaries, court reporters and other legal support staffers.
- Lifetime Achievement Award: Licensed legal professional(s) with at least 25 years of experience and demonstrated excellence in community engagement, pro bono/volunteer work, mentorship and civility.
In both the Distinguished Barristers and Up and Coming Lawyers categories, 15 honorees will be named. At least five Legal Support Stars will be honored, and one or two lawyers will be selected for the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Nominations must be submitted via the Indiana Lawyer website — submissions via email or U.S. Mail will not be accepted.

This year’s class of winners will be honored at a June 1 event in Indianapolis. Winner profiles will be published in the June 8 issue of Indiana Lawyer.
