Remember the days of the IndyBar Foundation’s formal gala? Everyone dressed to the nines. Actual tables with plenty of seating. Lovely music playing in the background. A time for you to mix and mingle with your favorite colleagues. Well, this year, you can have all that and more as we bring you out for a night on the town.
Remember those nights — pre-COVID, and maybe pre-kids — of meeting up with friends for cocktails after work, perhaps grabbing a quick bite to eat and then sometimes even making an entire night of it? At this year’s gala, you can have that, too.
The IndyBar Foundation’s 2023 Gala, “A Night on the Town,” will have something for everyone. Taking place at the stunning Montage Event Center off of Allisonville and 82nd, on Friday, Sept. 22, the gala takes you out for the night to four main streets around the mile square in Indianapolis. Take a stroll through the gardens on Virginia Avenue. Grab a glass of whiskey on Kentucky Avenue. Listen to some jazz on Indiana Avenue. And once you have mingled to your max and are ready to hit the club, make your way to the nightlife on Mass Avenue.
There will be something for everyone at this year’s gala. From signature cocktails and mocktails brought to you by some of our favorite legal minds to a cigar bar on the outdoor patio, to a whiskey tasting, you will not run short on things to do. The Montage has a spectacular event space with plenty of parking. A variety of food and drink will be in each room so no one will leave hungry or waiting in long lines for a cocktail. If you want to have space to chat with friends over a drink and a cigar, there’s space for you to do that. But if you want to get into an exclusive club and are prepared to put on your dancing shoes, you can do that, too.
