Adam Christensen

Adam Christensen of Hearthside Food Solutions LLC has been selected to lead the Indianapolis Bar Association in 2027 by the IndyBar’s Nominating Committee. Christensen currently serves as Treasurer to the Board. He is a Past President of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation. Christensen is currently the Director of Legal Affairs for Hearthside Food Solutions LLC. He will serve as the association’s First Vice President in 2025 and as President-Elect in 2026.

“Adam is an impressive lawyer and passionate about the legal profession. We are so excited that he will be continuing to share his talents with the association in his new role as president. The time he has devoted and outstanding leadership skills have impacted the members of IndyBar for years; we are grateful he wants to serve in this elevated position. He is a visionary leader that will continue to invest in and grow our association,” said the Hon. Alicia Gooden of Marion Superior Court and chair of the IndyBar Nominating Committee.

“The association was fortunate to have numerous members also step forward to be considered for roles on the Board. We had a difficult time making final decisions as there was a multitude of qualified applicants and only a small number of available positions on the Board. After interviewing so many highly involved members who have served in numerous leadership roles, the committee is confident we have selected a slate that will have positive impact for us all,” Judge Gooden said.

Those selected include Ranissa Dycus from the U.S. Attorney’s Office serving two years as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Accountability Director and Taylor Kirklin of the U.S. Attorney’s Office serving as Treasurer for two years. Named as At Large Directors also serving two-year terms are the Russel Brown, Clark Quinn Moses Scott & Grahn LLP, Christine Duncan of Barnes & Thornburg LLP, Enrique Flores of Flores Law Group LLC, Adriana Figueroa of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and Timothy Rowe of Rowe & Hamilton. Hon. Heather Welch, Mediator and Arbitrator for JAMS ADR was selected as the Board’s American Bar Association Delegate.

As determined by previous nomination, the 2025 Board of Directors will be led by Lee Christie of Christie Farrell Lee & Bell PC and Kathryn Jackson-Lindsay of Jackson Legal Services PC will be President-Elect. David Duncan of Scannell Properties, current IndyBar President, will remain on the board as Immediate Past President.

Future presidents have also made several appointments. Chosen to serve in Executive Committee roles were Scott Oliver of Lewis Kappes PC as Vice President of Law Student and Young Lawyer Engagement, and Lindsay Scott of Kids’ Voice of Indiana as Vice President of Business Development. Rebecca Geyer of Geyer & Associates PC will serve as Counsel to the Board. Peter Elliott of Lewis Wagner LLP will continue to serve as Vice President of Continuing Education and Raegan Gibson of Paganelli Law Group will continue in her role as Vice President of Membership.

The 2025 Board of Directors will be celebrated at the Indianapolis Bar Association and Foundation Installation gathering, to be held on January 30, 2025 at the Meridian Hills Country Club. Registration is available at www.indybar.org/events.•
