Each year, IndyBar volunteers on the Pro Bono and Public Outreach committee host a book drive to give to a local charity. In 2024, a total of 286 books were collected for the nonprofit Indy Book Project. Special thanks to Lindsay Van Gorkom, Public Defender of Indiana, for her time spent volunteering on the project. We’d also like to thank the following entities for serving as book collection sites in addition to IndyBarHQ: Cohen Garelick & Glazier PC, Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, Pro Bono Indiana, Ruppert & Schaefer PC, and Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP.
The Pro Bono and Public Outreach committee has exciting things planned for 2025, but they need more support from attorneys like you!
