Thomas Dinwiddie
Tom Dinwiddie graduated from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and was admitted to the bar in 1973. Tom has focused his career primarily on real estate development and lending practice, practicing throughout his career at the same firm he clerked for as a law student. He is regularly asked to serve as an expert witness on real estate litigation matters because of his extensive knowledge and experience, and he developed a close relationship with the Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association for over 30 years. During that time, he drafted important Indiana mortgage lending statutes and was the first recipient of the Mortgage Bankers Association Distinguished Service Award.
Danford Due
Dan Due graduated from Southport High School in 1966, where he was a star basketball player. He continued his basketball career at Vanderbilt University, where he graduated in 1970. Dan graduated from IU McKinney in 1973 and began working at Stewart Irwin Gilliam Fuller and Meyer doing mainly insurance defense litigation. He eventually began his own law firm of Due Doyle. Dan has tried over 230 jury trials and continues to work and try jury trials today. He has been a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Indiana State Bar Association since 1973.
Larry Landis
Larry Landis graduated from IU McKinney and was admitted to the bar in 1973. Larry spent his career as a public defender and a public defender advocate, holding the position of executive director of the Indiana Public Defender Council from 1980 until he retired in 2018. During his career, Larry also spent many years as an adjunct professor in trial advocacy at IU McKinney and presented at hundreds of seminars, workshops and conferences. He is also the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions related to teaching and his work with the Public Defender Council.
James Maguire
Jim Maguire has proudly served the state of Indiana for over 50 years. He graduated from Purdue University in 1969 with a degree in economics and business and graduated from IU-Indianapolis Law School in 1972. Jim was the director of the Indiana Lottery for Govs. Evan Bayh and Frank O’Bannon from 1997 – 2001 and was a longtime staff attorney for the Indiana Supreme Court. Jim has also served as a staff attorney, editor and writer for the Indiana Court Times. He has served the legal community in many positions during his career. Jim’s daughter is married to the current Notre Dame men’s basketball coach, Micah Shrewsberry.
Robert York
Bob York graduated from IU McKinney and was admitted to the bar in 1973. York has devoted his career to litigation, beginning as a deputy prosecuting attorney and then focusing on civil litigation. A past president of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, Bob has authored numerous legal publications and was editor of Verdict magazine for 12 years. He also has served as the chairman of the Marion County Local Probate Rules Committee for five years. Outside the office, Bob is a hockey and baseball enthusiast, having coached 40 youth hockey and baseball teams.
