The Indiana Supreme Court has recertified nearly 40 judicial officers as senior judges, according to a Thursday order.

Justices agreed to recertify the following judicial officers as senior judges for the coming year:

  • George W. Biddlecome
  • William J. Boklund
  • Barbara L. Brugnaux
  • Christopher L. Burnham
  • Thomas H. Busch
  • Dennis D. Carroll
  • David A. Cox
  • Jane Spencer Craney
  • Donald E. Currie
  • Carr L. Darden, Sr.
  • Roger L. Duvall
  • Cynthia S. Emkes
  • Nancy L. Gettinger
  • Mary R. Harper
  • James R. Heuer
  • Marc R. Kellams
  • Raymond M. Kirtley
  • David Laur
  • Mark Loyd
  • David P. Matsey
  • Chris D. Monroe
  • John R. Pera
  • Thomas C. Perrone
  • Victoria M. Ransberger
  • David T. Ready
  • Robert E. Ross
  • Michael D. Rush
  • Robert J. Schmoll

All of the judicial officers met the criteria for senior judgeship, the order says, pursuant to I.C. 33-27-4-1.

“Accordingly … the listed individuals are qualified to be appointed as Senior Judges pursuant to IC 33-23-3-2, until December 31, 2021,” the order says, signed by Chief Justice Loretta Rush.
