A Muncie man was convicted by a jury on Wednesday for murdering three people during a home invasion and robbery in July 2022.

In addition to the three murder charges, Devin X. Myers, 30, also was convicted of armed robbery, criminal confinement, conspiracy to commit robbery resulting in serious bodily injury, and obstruction of justice.

Each murder is punishable by up to 65 years in prison.

Myers was found guilty in the deaths of 19-year-old Kyler Musick, 51-year-old Kyndra Skinner, and 69-year-old Malcolm Perdue. The murders occurred on July 13, 2022.

Myers was also convicted of habitual offender and firearm enhancements, both of which can add up to 20 years each to the total sentence.

His sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 20 before Delaware Circuit Court Judge Thomas Cannon Jr.

Delaware County prosecutor Eric Hoffman and chief deputy prosecutor Zachary Craig handled the case for the state. .

“Make no mistake about it, Devin Myers is a very dangerous predator,” said Hoffman. “He viciously executed three people from the same family. These verdicts will hopefully ensure that he will spend the rest of his life behind bars. ”
