New laws: Legislature makes moves despite COVID

The Indiana General Assembly convened in-person for its 2021 session with COVID-19 protocols in place. Many new laws passed during the 2021 session react to the pandemic, with legislators giving businesses protections and enabling local governments to remove the local health official.
