Adoption. Affirms the Morgan Superior Court’s decree of adoption filed by grandparents R.S.E. and R.K.E. to adopt their minor grandchild C.A.H. against father A.C.S.’s wishes. Finds the trial court did not err in finding that father’s consent to the adoption was irrevocably implied pursuant to Indiana Code section 31-19-10-1.2(g) because he failed to appear for the final hearing. Chief Judge Nancy Vaidik dissents with separate opinion.
Shane Adams v. Aubree Scaife (mem. dec.)

Juvenile paternity. Affirms the Hamilton Circuit Court’s order granting Aubree Scaife primary physical custody and sole legal custody of her two children with Shane Adams. Also affirms the trial court’s finding of Adams in contempt for failing to comply with the trial court’s prior orders. Find that Scaife’s petition for contempt provided Adams with proper notice and that he was not deprived of due process. Finds the trial court did not abuse its discretion in modifying its award of joint legal custody and granting Scaife full legal custody.
James A. Camp v. State of Indiana (mem. dec.)

Criminal. Affirms in part, reverses in part James Camp’s aggregate 40-year sentence for his conviction of Level 1 felony child molesting, Level 1 felony attempted child molesting, and Level 4 felony child molesting. Finds sufficient evidence to support Camp’s conviction for child molesting as a Level 1 felony. However, finds his 40-year sentence for that conviction is inappropriate and reduces it to a 30-year sentence. Judge Robert Altice concurs in part and dissents in part with separate opinion.
