The following 7th Circuit Court of Appeals opinion was published after IL deadline Wednesday:
United States of America v. Edwin Agbi, also known as Kareem Sunday
22-2573
Appeal from the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, Indianapolis Division. Judge James R. Sweeney II.
Criminal. Affirms Edwin Agbi’s convictions of mail fraud, use of a fictitious name in furtherance of mail fraud, conspiracy to commit mail fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering, and his 57-month sentence. Finds legally sufficient evidence supports each count of the indictment. Also finds the district court appropriately employed an obstruction-of-justice enhancement.
