Criminal. Affirms Amber Egan’s three-year sentence, with one-year suspended to probation, in Henry Circuit Court for a Level 5 felony count of dealing in a controlled substance. Finds Egan has not met her burden to establish that her sentence is inappropriate in light of the nature of the offense and her character.
Alyson Stephen v. State of Indiana (mem. dec.)

Criminal. Affirms Alyson Stephen’s conviction in Madison Circuit Court of neglect of a dependent resulting in death, a Level 1 felony. Finds there was sufficient evidence from which the jury could have determined that Stephen knowingly endangered her child, Ryder, by leaving him with Jacob Wootton. Also finds Elwood Chief of Police Jason Brizendine’s testimony about Stephen’s behavior during a police interview was not inadmissible commentary on Stephen’s truthfulness.
Jacob White v. State of Indiana (mem. dec.)

Criminal. Affirms Jacob White’s 10-year sentence in St. Joseph Superior Court for two Level 5 felony counts of causing serious bodily injury when operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Finds White’s sentence is not inappropriate given the nature of his offenses and his character.
