Judge Terry Crone is set to retire on Nov. 5 after 20 years on the appellate bench.
Five trial court judges and two attorneys will be interviewing for the position.
Six of the candidates interviewed in July for another vacancy created by now Senior Judge Patricia Riley. Both Lake Superior Court Judge Stephen E. Scheele and St. Joseph Superior Court Judge Stephanie E. Steele were finalists for that position, which ultimately went to Judge Mary DeBoer.
New to the candidate list is Allen Superior Court Judge Andrew S. Williams.
The interviews will be held in the Supreme Court Conference Room, State House 319, 200 W. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
Following the interviews the commission will publicly select three candidates for Gov. Eric Holcomb to choose from. Holcomb will have 60 days to appoint Crone’s successor.

Tuesday, Oct. 22
9:15 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.: Anna Mandula
9:45 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.: Allen Superior Court Judge Andrew S. Williams
10:30 a.m. – 11 a.m.: A. Elizabeth Underwood
11 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: LaPorte Superior Court Judge Jaime M. Oss
11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Lake Superior Court Judge Stephen E. Scheele
1:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.: Lake Superior Court Judge Gina L. Jones
2 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.: St. Joseph Superior Court Judge Stephanie E. Steele
