Indianapolis attorneys Scott Richards and William Richards Jr. of The Law Firm of William R. Richards PC will host the 23rd annual tax sale seminar on Friday, Aug. 6, featuring guest speakers from the Indiana General Assembly, judicial officers and local, longtime tax experts.
The session will run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 6 at the Primo South Conference & Banquet Center, 2615 E. National Ave. in Indianapolis. The program will offer 7.2 hours of approved CLE credit for attorneys and judges.
Scheduled panelists for the legislators panel include State Rep. Jerry Torr, R-Carmel, State Sen. Lonnie Randolph, D-East Chicago, and federal prosecutor Nicholas J. Linder.
The judges panel will include Magistrate Judge Amber Collins of the Marion Circuit Court and judges Daniel Sielinski and AmyMarie Travis of Hendricks and Jackson counties, respectively.
The bankruptcy panel will feature John M. Hauber, Chapter 13 bankruptcy trustee for the Indiana Southern District, Indianapolis bankruptcy attorney Mike Norris and Greenwood tax sale and bankruptcy attorney Katherine Starks.
Scheduled panelists for the real estate panel include Sam Arce, real estate instructor with the FC Tucker School Of Real Estate & a licensed real estate broker, Greg Myricks, Lake County Realtor with McColley Real Estate Brokerage, and John Johantges, a certified tax representative for property tax assessments and property tax appeals.
Additional speakers include Andrew Seiwert, general counsel at the Indiana Finance Authority, Greg Ullrich, an attorney for the Health & Hospital Corporation-Marion Co., and Brenda Flatter, a licensed title insurance agent.

The cost is $349 per attendee for in-person attendance, $284 for those not attending but requesting the materials via a book and a flash drive, or $249 to receive the materials via book or flash drive only.
