For 50 years, the Indianapolis Bar Foundation (IBF) has worked to ensure equal access to justice for all Indianapolis-area residents. In recognition of this milestone, the foundation will increase its annual Impact Fund Grant to $50,000 in order to fund a project or program that facilitates this mission and reflects the foundation’s goals.

“All these people died, and it happened under my watch,” claims Joe Rannazzisi, former Deputy Assistant Administrator for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. IndyBar is now recruiting committee members for groups in need of additional volunteers and looking to honor female attorneys who have demonstrated a sincere commitment to mentoring other women in the legal professional.
Attorneys, paralegals and law students are needed as volunteers to do intake, conduct private legal consultations with qualified applicants, draft paperwork and witness document signing.
Every year the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Women & the Law Division honors one woman from the Indianapolis legal community with the Antoinette Dakin Leach Award. This year’s recipient is Marcia J. Oddi, creator and publisher of the Indiana Law Blog.
