Each year, the Indianapolis Bar Foundation hosts an annual fundraising gala – the Evening Under the Stars. This year’s event is quickly approaching and promises to be one of the best yet! The gala is a wonderful opportunity to network with peers in the legal community and give back to the IBF.
The responsibility to reform our office space creates an incredible opportunity for all of us to demonstrate to our legal community, the citizens of Central Indiana and to those similarly situated communities in the United States how the IndyBar is on the cutting-edge by creating an office facility that will be welcoming to young lawyers, as well as experienced practitioners.

An eviction is often the first step on the path to homelessness for vulnerable Indianapolis residents, but a new program by Indiana Legal Services seeks to decrease this likelihood by providing legal representation to those facing eviction. This innovative project has been named the recipient of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation’s 2018 Anniversary Impact Fund Grant of $50,000.

With a population of 119,477, Evansville would be the smallest city to welcome the national competition since Wilmington, Delaware, with a population then of 72,657, hosted it in 2007. But state and local legal community leaders are confident the tight-knit legal community in Evansville would be the catalyst for getting many members of the bench and bar to volunteer to make the event a success.
